1981 Red Red 4 Speed This is one rare & beautiful Red/Red, 4 speed 1981 Corvette. Two owner car, myself being one of them. This was the only year that Corvettes were built at 2 assembly plants, St.Louis and the then new Bowling Green plant. Only 5,757 cars with a 4 speed transmission were built out of the total of 40,606. This car has only 66,000 original miles on it and comes with all options available for that year. Also comes with two sets of T-tops (painted and glass). Undercoating at the time of new car delivery has kept it rust free as from the underside pictures. I have the original paperwork and all warranty and instruction booklets. It’s very difficult to find one that drives as nice & looks as good as this one, inside and out. The shiny red paint will knock your eyes out! All power options work as new including the power seat…….and yes, ALL NUMBERS MATCH on this beauty including trim and paint codes that are stamped on the trim tag (paint code 75 Red and interior code 752L Red leather). |
